With the Master model, the Swiss sanding machine manufacturer Kündig is launching a new wide-belt sanding machine on the market just in time for the company's 75th anniversary. The basic model combines, out of the box, all the features that are essential for fast, reliable sanding of perfect surfaces. According to Lukas Kündig, Managing Director of the Kündig Group, the idea of such a basic model had been around for quite some time. However, there was never any question of cutting back on robustness, sanding quality and user-friendliness in favour of a low price, let alone moving production to the east. Instead, the company consistently relies on standardisation and serial production and focuses on the essentials when it comes to equipment: The Kündig Master 2-belt sander has a generous 1350 mm working width and the same solid construction that has proven its durability and robustness in the other models. The units are equipped with a calibration roller and a fine sanding unit, optionally with segment technology (electronically controlled) or with a pneumatic sanding pad. For this purpose, Kündig draws on a wealth of experience from several thousand machines delivered with this configuration. As always, the controls are logical and fast on the touch screen or via analogue operating elements. The Kundig Master provides a straight forward and inviting user experience.
